This directory contains regression tests, functionality tests, examples,
benchmarks, ...

check/
   unit tests using the check library, non-interactive
benchmarks/
   benchmarks to profile pieces of GStreamer
misc/
   prototypes, random bits, ...

old/
   outdated tests that need to be converted to this new layout,
   possibly use check, ported, ...
