Eventhough the "pattern" property of fakesrc can be set, it is never used. The only pattern supported is the default 0x00 -> 0xff, and if a pattern is set by the user it is ignored. Removing the unused property and variable. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=737683
