10a461daf4 gst: don't use volatile to mean atomic 
volatile is not sufficient to provide atomic guarantees and real atomics
should be used instead.  GCC 11 has started warning about using volatile
with atomic operations.

1a046968d6 Port gst_element_query*() functions over to the 1.0 API 
We don't take the GstFormat as pointer anymore. This was already fixed
long ago in the actual code but not in the markdown documentation.
