d774f18fb9 configure: Use -Bsymbolic-functions if available 
While this is more useful for libraries, some of our plugins with multiple
files and some internal API can also benefit from this.

947d5b56b3 configure: bump automake requirement to 1.14 and autoconf to 2.69 
This is only required for builds from git, people can still
build tarballs if they only have older autotools.

eb5adde7af configure: fix x264 version checking 
x264 releases carry pkg-config versions such as 0.120.x
(literallly with an 'x'). Checking for x264 >= 0.120.0 will
then fail, so we need to either check for > 0.119.0 or
for >= 0.120 to make this work right.

2b814e4191 dvdread: link to libgmodule-2.0 since the g_module_* API is used 
And the gmodule lib has been moved into the Requires.private
section of the pkg-config file in core.
