a3ec50053d docs: cleanup makefiles 
Remove commented out parts that we don't need. Remove "the wingo addition" - no
so useful after all. Narrow down file-globs for plugin docs.

6f0a692215 design: More specifications of compositing and material handling 
Doing it this way will enable us to handle:
* Output conforming (proper scaling/conversion at the right place)
* Compositing in an easy way at the layer level
* Avoid having too many transformation elements
