ptp: Initial implementation of a PTP clock GstPtpClock implements a PTP (IEEE1588:2008) ordinary clock in slave-only mode, that allows a GStreamer pipeline to synchronize to a PTP network clock in some specific domain. The PTP subsystem can be initialized with gst_ptp_init(), which then starts a helper process to do the actual communication via the PTP ports. This is required as PTP listens on ports < 1024 and thus requires special privileges. Once this helper process is started, the main process will synchronize to all PTP domains that are detected on the selected interfaces. gst_ptp_clock_new() then allows to create a GstClock that provides the PTP time from a master clock inside a specific PTP domain. This clock will only return valid timestamps once the timestamps in the PTP domain are known. To check this, the GstPtpClock::internal-clock property and the related notify::clock signal can be used. Once the internal clock is not NULL, the PTP domain's time is known. Alternatively you can wait for this with gst_ptp_clock_wait_ready(). To gather statistics about the PTP clock synchronization, gst_ptp_statistics_callback_add() can be used. completion: Place the completion helper in libexec This patch reorganize the bash completion scripts in order to install the binary helper (gst-completion-helper) in libexec path rather then share folder. Most Linux hierarchy compliance requires that no binary executable are placed in share. We also cleanup the unused .pc entries and remove copy pasted parts of the script. Note that other project including the common helper, should now use $_GST_HELPER to read the binary executable gst-completion-helper. This helper is not longer version, as it is placed in a versionned subfolder (libexec/gstreamer.10) just like the other helpers (scanner and ptp).

helpers: really fix install race My previous fix for #758029 wasn't quite right and simply made the race rarer. Some of the files are installed by install-exec and others by install-exec, so the hooks need to be split too. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=758029

plugin-scanner: rename plugin-scanner helper binary to gst-plugin-scanner and install into a different directory $(libexecdir/gstreamer-0.10) so that everything is versioned properly. NOTE: run 'make clean' after updating; if you are running an uninstalled setup, you will need to update your gst-uninstalled script (unless it's symlinked to gstreamer core master) and exit/enter your uninstalled environment to get the updated environment. If you are running an installed setup, you should run 'make uninstall' before merging this change or remove the old plugin-scanner binary manually. Fixes #601698.
