1) the app must implement as least one of the protocols that allow it to interoperate with (other) federated micro-blogging apps; OStatus, Diaspora (protocol), ActivityPub etc
2) the app must allow the following between its users and users of at least one other federated micro-blogging apps;
* follow
* be followed
* post a reply
* receive a reply
* repost
